LEASE TERMS

Supplies are limited. Vehicle selection subject to change at any time. Program offered on a first come, first serve basis. Lessee will be required to sign a Vehicle Lease Agreement. United Fleet Management (UFM) leases the Vehicle to Lessee beginning on the Vehicle Lease Agreement effective date and ends 4 months after the effective date (the “Term”). The Vehicle shall remain licensed and registered to UFM during the Term. There is no limitation on the number of miles the Vehicle may be driven under this Agreement. The Term shall automatically extend for an additional 1 month period unless either Party notifies the other Party in writing of the decision not to extend at the end of the current period. Lessee shall immediately return the Vehicle to United Fleet Management upon expiration of the Term, at which time UFM and Lessee shall perform a visual inspection of the Vehicle, and Lessee shall be responsible to pay for any damages and any excess wear and tear to the Vehicle.

Lessee acknowledges that the Vehicle will be monitored by one or more manufacturer or third party GPS monitoring/locating systems (e.g., OnStar, etc.). Any questions should be directed to: customercare@unitedfleetmgmt.com.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

Only Lessees who are least 25 years old with a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record (i.e., no DWI/DUI and no more than 3 moving violations in past 3 years) shall be approved to lease. Lessee agrees that Lessee shall be solely responsible for all costs and expenses associated with the operation, use, storage, maintenance, and repair of the vehicle while the Vehicle Lease Agreement is in effect.

The individuals (including Lessee) authorized to drive the vehicle, listed in the Vehicle Lease Agreement: (a) has a valid driver’s license, and (b) will follow all safety rules and standards, including without limitation, seatbelts for all passengers, not driving while intoxicated, and using defensive driving techniques. All authorized drivers must be at least 25 years old and listed on your declaration page provided by the insurance carrier.

LEASE PAYMENTS

United Fleet Management reserves the right to trade out vehicle (at no cost to Lessee) at any time before the end of the term with a like-kind vehicle (Lessee can choose from current selection of replacement vehicles whereby billing will be adjusted up or down).

Lessee will be required to authorize monthly ACH payments that will be prorated and billed at the beginning of each month. Lessee authorizes United Fleet Management to pull from Lessee’s bank account by ACH all fines, penalties, tolls, tickets (including parking and photo tickets), violations (including toll road violations), damages and repairs to the Vehicle, and all other charges that are incurred by Lessee while the Vehicle Lease Agreement is in effect or are the responsibility of Lessee under the terms and conditions of the Vehicle Lease Agreement.

Normal wear and tear is acceptable. Any damage larger than a credit card size is the responsibility of the Lessee and will be billed to Lessee at lease termination if not repaired. For individual Lessees, a security deposit will be collected with your first monthly payment. The amount of your security deposit is equal to your monthly payment. For example, if your monthly payment is $745, your security deposit is also $745.

LEASE INSURANCE

Lessee shall maintain insurance on the Vehicle throughout the Term on Lessee’s personal auto insurance policy, at Lessee’s sole expense, meeting the following minimum requirements:
(a) Insure the Vehicle for up to the full value of the Vehicle with a maximum deductible of $1,000 shown on the certificate of insurance;
(b) Auto liability with coverage of at least $250,000 for bodily injury per person and $500,000 per occurrence, and at least $250,000 for property damage;
(d) Using the applicable designations allowed by the particular insurance company, list “United Fleet Management, LLC” as the following: “additional insured,” “loss payee,” “lessor,” “lienholder” and/or “additional interest”;
(e) Provide Company with a certificate of insurance reflecting the foregoing coverage.

DRIVER RECORD

Lessee further authorizes United Fleet Management and its affiliates to run a comprehensive driving record to establish Lessee eligibility.
